The American Council for Continuing Higher Education believes that the trainer is the fundamental pillar in building knowledge, developing skills, and preparing competencies capable of leading change and achieving sustainable development. With this in mind, the Council is committed to supporting professional trainers and developing their capabilities in accordance with the latest international standards and practices in training and continuing education.

They do not constitute a government license to practice the profession unless the laws and regulations in force in the relevant country state otherwise.
